LET THERE BE ROCK !!!!!! I just added 12 lbs. of Live Rock this morning. Got it from my LFS from a guy who traded it in. It's got a lot of great Coraline Algae growth. This is all the base rock i will be adding to the tank. From now on the only rock that gets in the tank will have a coral on it. Here are the pics....

It's a mag-float.

yea right now i have 2 false percs, and a mandarine from the 92 that im breaking down... im gonna get rid of the mandarine and get a 6 line and a goby of some sort.

The hood is sitting on the tank flush with the tank. Meaning it sits on the top part of the tank and doesn't hang off like most hoods do. There is also a small piece of weatherstripping attatched to the bottom of the hood to keep it from scratching the tank and to keep all the light in. The lights are T-5's 96watts....

Thanks....Not sure about corals as of yet, but prob. whatever i can get my hands on LOL

We know the lights are T5's and all, but what make/model are they? Where did you get them? Or did you blow the glass and add the phosphors yourself?

EDIT: how do you get the rock to stand up like that?

Got the lights from HelloLights.com here is a link to the ones i got. The link is for one set of lights, but i purchased two sets. I got two of the 10K bulbs and two actinics. I just stacked the rocks how i wanted them. Don't really know what else to say....

Dude...you just solved a problem fro me, how to put a custom canopy on a biocube 8 just put it on top with a lip on the inside with no overhang on the outside....awesommmmmme MH here I come!
