20L lighting

im getting ready in the next few weeks for setting up my 20L and i was jus wondering what would be the best lighting option for it.

would T5s work better bc of the actinics or is a halide always the best to go with?

IMO, MH is the best way to go. 150W HQI would be great for a 20L.

what about for a QT tank? (sorry but same size tank) what should my minimum lighting be?

I am under the assumption that any 30 inch light will work for a fish only QT tank. correct?
