210 build

So... Plans changed again. The tank is going to be in the wall!! No turning back now, the Sheetrock is all cut and I'm going to cut the studs now. I will try and post some picks later and show what's been done.

Thanks again Dave. I'll try to do that later on. Drawing up some plumbing options now. I want to try to set the sump outside the stand for easier access, does anyone have any suggestions?

My tank was factory drilled with 2 mega-flow overflows. Should the drains be tied together or kept separate to the sump?

I would lose the TV screen. You wouldn't want anything to distract from what's most important.

You should try to convince her to do a automated roll down projection screen. That way when she isn't watching tv/movies, you can enjoy the tank. Just build a soffit box around it to hide it too

No projector... Atleast the tank is always visible this way.

Yesterday I moved some of the walls in the sump to work better for me and I built a filter sock holder( I bought the sump used). Tonight I got the sump in place and finished the plumbing for the drains. It's all coming together, slow but sure!! I'll try to upload some pics, sorry i'm still not great at it...
My sump is not going to have a fuge in it. I'm thinking of doing a remote fuge
One question I do have is... In the sump, does it matter what chamber the skimmer goes in? I'm thinking I'd like it to go -Drains to 2- 7" filter socks/ Reactor chamber (all reactors will be fed bye a manifold from the return pump. They will be just sitting in the sump)/ Skimmer/ Bubble trap/ Return pump.

thats what it looks like behind the tank

I'm also happy to say my new return pump and skimmer should be here the end of the week. Deepwater BLDC-12 pump and a Reef Octopus Regal 200 skimmer
