The wife is going back to school to finish her masters so it looks like we won't be moving anytime soon. For now I have to scratch the 350gal I was going to setup, but I ordered a 210 so I can keep a couple tangs and make them happy. For the past year I've collected equipment for the 350 that I think I'll just use on this system. Let me know your thoughts. Pictures will be forthcoming. The tank arrives at the LFS today!
This is what I have:
-210gal perfecto reef ready with two overflows.
-100gal acrylic sump
-MRC MR-4 skimmer + panworld 200 (rated to like 800+gallons)
-(3) Reeflo darts
-(2) 3/4" sea swirls + (2) 1" sea swirls
-2 om 4-ways
-mrc cr6 calcium reactor (I think I may downgrade this to a cr-2)
-72" fixture with 3 250's and pc's
I plan on keeping an sps dominated tank. I thought that each om could be run off of a dart and plumbed from the top of each overflow return, then the two 1" sea swilrs could be in a closed loop running off of the third dart? Will this be enough movement? Too much? 3600g/hr x two for return! Is this overkill on a 300gal system?
