210 gallon peninsula (72x24x29)

Well its been over a year since I've done any kind of update on this build. Sorry to say its still at about the same point. We decided we were going to move so I quit working on it. We have moved into a new house so now its time for me to get going on it again. Here is where I plain on putting it. The breakfast bar is just under 8 foot and my tank with stand is just over so hopefully it will look ok there. I plain on making a cardboard example of its dimensions to make sure it wont be awkward to walk around before putting it here.

+1 on skinning the reinforcements! I'm always looking for creative places to hide the spare parts I collect. Put a door and shelving on one side and a dartboard on the other!

Great looking tank build so far! Large peninsula is what I will be doing eventually (mine will be slow going too). Tagging along.

I plain to drywall it so from the large side it looks like a wall and have it be closet access form the other side, but Im not worried about that until the tank has water, fish, and coral. Got to keep my priorities straight.

Now that im in this house it will be much faster moving. All I have left to do is run electrical run plumbing for water changes and plumb the under side of the tank. I hoping to get it wet in about a month give or take depending on cost and time.

This image cracked me up, dog bed in background on floor, dog on couch snoozing lol.

Got the electrical ran and hooked up. 150lbs BRS dry rock and light fixture mounted. Going to start working on the plumbing today.
