210 stocking

So last night I had a catastrophic failure of my 70 gallon display tank. Because of the help of a local reefer, I am getting a 210 gallon aquarium in the next few weeks. 72x24x29. I currently have a a pair of percula clowns, a single chromis haha, tailspot blenny, royal gramma, and a starry blenny. Soooo I'm gonna have to get more fish hahaha. I honestly haven't done much research into larger fish because I couldn't put them in my tank. But now my options have really opened up. So please give me some suggestions as to where to even get started! I want some dwarf Angels, flame and coral beauty but I was thinking about a larger angel too? I think I can do that now with the 210. But I would want one that isn't incredibly hard to keep. School of anthias. Tangs for sure. Butterfly fish? Just help me haha. I'm lost in a tank this size.

Here is what I have come up with so far. Powder blue tang,
desjardini sailfin tang,
blonde Naso tang
Purple tang
Blue regal tang
Flame angel
Coral beauty angel
Melanurus wrasse
Dispar or ly retail anthias group( 10)
Green bird wrasse
Niger trigger
Huma trigger
Dogface puffer or porcupine

Sailfin and Naso will be too big.

Blue Regal and Purple will get aggressive, so know that before getting them.

Guessing you don't want to keep coral?

I just won't have time to grow them out before I move again. And I wouldn't have the money to buy the big colonies that I would need to make it look nice for awhile and the fish are more important to me than the corals in a tank that size. I might be changing my mind on the triggers though.

The Naso though is one that I will be getting. I love them and have wanted one for a long time. I wouldn't get a full grown one either way, I would start with a small one.

Sure that's fine starting with a juvenile, just know one day he will outgrow the tank.

I have decided to wait on the Naso. Maybe one day I can have one. If I decide later one that I just can't help myself then I will get a small one. But I have learned to be patient in this hobby and that there are some fish that just aren't possible. Which is fine. My updated list is this

Chevron tang
Powder blue tang
Yellow, purple, or sailfin tang
Dogface or porky
Pair of bird wrasse
Melanurus wrasse
Group of anthias
Pair of perculas
Flame angel
Coral beauty angel
Starry blenny
Midas blenny
Royal geamma( maybe 3, if I can get some the same size and introduce at the same time)
Valentini puffer
Tail spot blenny

Looking much better. I'd try to add all three tangs at once. Get a smaller PBT, little larger Yellow and have the Chevron big the largest.

Ok will do. I will have 4 qt for this tank. 2 10 gallons for ttm and then a 20 long and a 29 which I will use after ttm based on fish size since then will be in there for 4 weeks. Does that sound sufficient? I knew I wasn't going to get all those fish haha, it's just my dream list. I will also introduce the dwarf Angels at the same time as well. The 2 larger qt tanks will have liverock in them as well

Yeah just make sure the angels are in separate QT tanks.

sam, when you get your stocking list pretty much where you want it, go to the 'new to hobby' forum. there is a sticky there where steve (snorvich) will look at your list and give you his expert opinion about compatibility. i wouldn't add a fish to my tank until i got steve's approval. he doesn't advise about aggressive fish but i'm sure he could help you.

oh and, a yellow eye kole tang should be on your list!

He won't help me with aggressive tanks because of the puffers. I will get the rest of the list approved by him though
