210 stocking

thanks, mrwilson I will keep that in consideration, could I get the trio of leopards say now or within a couple weeks then a month or so later add a xmas wrasse then several months later add a mystery which would be my very last fish?

You will have to keep an eye on the coral beauty as most dwarf angels pic at corals.

As far as the large Angels, forget about keeping any meaty corals like brains, clams, etc I have an Emporer adult that i got when he was a juv and has eaten 2 carpet anemones, brain, zoas, etc...

Its tough deciding which fish to get, i am trying to decide myself for my last fish...thinking Powder Blue Tang , Accilles Tang, or female Bellus Angel

where is the best online place to get leopard wrasses? I am going to get a trio unless anyone sees a problem with that

you know a 210 is not as big as you think it is... also the sohal and sailfin would have a hard time to get along with each other. In fact, the sohal would beat everyone up ( personally i have tried 3, from mini sohal to large sohal, and didn't work out.)

also if you want to do SPS, that's alot bioload you talking about with all those tangs.. anyway good luck :)

thanks nava, but I already crossed out the sohal, heres is my updated listPair of GSM
3 green chromis
coral beauty
regal tang
purple tang
sailfin tang
Really want to add a naso and if so would be last of the tangs
leopard wrasse (some website said they do well in groups of 3 could i do this?)
mystery wrasse (last except for possibly naso)
majestic angel
could I do a blue face instead of a emperor as a second angel?

What other wrasses could I add that would get along, and any other fish that would bring color and life to the tank?

Thank you
all opinions welcome

Just got $200 what should I add first? I was thinking the leopards, but what is a good place to order them from? I currently have 3 chromis, GSM pair, and coral beauty angel in there
thanks again

From my experience, I had a blonde Naso and he was a great fish, very peaceful, like a big cow...however, gets very big and poops alot which will drive up your nutrients more than u want for SPS if u intend to keep all those other fish. And yesterday i went with the Powder Blue for myself instead of the Acilles. It was a tough decision, but wife didnt want another brown /black looking tangs since i already had the Kole.

I have put together a very tentative wrasse list
Mystery Wrasse (added last to the tank)
Radiant wrasse
red head wrasse
checkerboard wrasse
leopard wrasse
christmas wrasse

This is a very tentative list to just see which of those would work best in the tank. I am definitely getting the mystery so which of these will get along with him

It seems like you like schooling fish, and having several of the same species. Why not Anthias? My 120 is a little small for a school, but I am thinking of upgrading, and they are one of the reasons why.

Thanks brad and reeftank. Brad do you feed your anthias multiple times a day? I often go out of town for a week or more at a time and dont have someone that would come feed them multiple times a day. Could I get buy with out feeding multiple times a day when I am out of town?

IMO put all the wrasses together and keep the light off for few hours . in the past i add to my tank 4 wrasses in same day and they do well , day after i add one more (Exquisite Fairy Wrasse) and they attacked him till they killed him .

can I add the leopard wrasses first, let them get settled in for a week or so and then add all the other wrasses at the same time? Should I do the same thing with all the tangs?

yes you can do that but with the tangs try to add all together to reduce chasing as much as you can between the fish.

i don't know how is your rock work in the tank but the key is to create a lot of hiding space between the rock work to let the fish to have more territorial area.

i have 120 gallon tank not big as your and it's 48" wide..... i keep there 17 fish 4 tangs , 4 angels , 2 clown , 2 antihas , 2 damsels , 3 wrasses (was 5 but lost 2) , also have 2 mandarin and 5 big shrimps . unless the clown & the damsels all the other fish big (to big for the tank today) but i have a lot of hiding space in the rock work and i change that every 3 month since they grow quick and need more easy movement between the rock.... this save agressive between the fish and they have each one his place.
