215g Caribbean Inspired Reef

Thanks. I keep the tank between 78 and 80 degrees :)

I'll shoot a new FTS when I get a chance. Not much change actually. I ended up fragging some of the gorgos because they were getting too long.

I am sure you have heard it enough but this is a gorgeous tank. It's like a little slice of natural reef someplace in the ocean. Even the species not native to the Caribbean just look like they belong.

Thanks so much!
I am actually thinking about selling the whole system right now so who knows how much longer it will look like this. I am hoping whoever buys it will keep some of the theme going :)

Karin...don't say sell. It is way too inspirational and I know you love it too much to part with it.

Thanks Jack. I do love this tank. But I still have my seahorses. And my big passion is really equines. The drought has been a bugger and hay prices are crazy! I thought of selling my horse (the 4-legged one -not the seahorses lol) and given a choice I'd rather raise the funds selling the fish tank than one of the horses because I love the horses just a tad more ;)

I understand all too well, my other hobby is eating my budget alive but I will keep both. Just got the fish and corals transferred to the new tank. I am looking for some gorgonian frags, will PM you because I know you know where the best place is to get them. :-)

Its been said before, but I'll say it again.... Very nice tank and I love the idea about the shadow box background.

I might have to barrow your shadow box idea..thanks for sharing!

The tank has been taken down. Lights and pumps have already been sold. Somebody is coming to view the tank this weekend.
