hopefully i can get some time to up date this thread now,
a little update , lately i have had soooo much going on that the tank has been neglected, but this past week i have been doing some work on the tank and system
first been cleaning the hell out of some hair algae that has arisen from neglect
second been playing with the positioning and settings of the vortechs
third, completely drained and redid the sump, by pulling out all of the sand, and setting up a rack system that forces the water through it, by means of a pressure baffle.
top shelf is a buffering media and carbon, then down through two shelves of rubble, then back up through my frag shelf, then into the camber where i will be adding some cheato. i will take pic of this soon. but i must say the water has never been clearer, and after only one day of refilling the sump and turning the system back on.
and have made the decision to completey stock the tank with aquacultured sps, well maybe a couple maricultured, but no wild caught pieces.

thanks robot. although there are a few things i would have done a little differently, if i wasnt rushing trying to do it in under two weeks, along with working and getting ready for the holidays
