It is a Standard 55g Tank, all my parameters have been stable for about 6 months, what type of clam could I keep? If I can't keep a clam, why not?

Well you could keep any of the tridacnids, just keep crocea's and maxima's up high on the rocks.

I am leery though about your wrasse. They are iffy with clams.
