Ok I'm looking for a little help here!

I started a 220 last July I had major algae issues so added bio pellets which I took off line about a month ago because I lost a bunch of acros .
Things looked better so I added a few new frags they r encrusting but slowly and I have 0 PE none at all color is ok on most but no PE
I have a scribbled angel 4" juvi emperor 4" a cherub Pygmy and pair of Wantanabei angel fish and 15 or so other fish

Wanted to hear from guys who keep angels in sps tanks will these frags still grow and eventually grow big enough where they will not be bothered by nipping
Or is my best bet to remove them until I have grown out colonies
I can deal with the lack of PE on the frags but I did build this system with sps as the focus

Anyway please lmk ur experience and if u think it's not the angels at all but another issue alltogether

You answered your own Q my man, I have a majestic that leaves zoos & a duncan alone, but nips a bit. PE has been lacking in some things. The frags are more susceptible, but could/should be fine fire the most part. Colonies will fair better. It's just the pay off to keep beautiful fish in our tank! One, for the most part, I can live with.

You need to look at other issues for your sps if your color is not that great. I have a regal angel, flame angel and a blue faced Girdle angel and I was not getting any pe but color was okay. I have sinced linked it to a very clean tank and also my RODI filters needed replaced. Since i have been getting better PE and my color and growth have started to improve.
