the one that read 11 I raised to 13. I have the one at nine because it lets the water break one last time be for the skimmer to get out any last air bubbles. should I make it deeper?

Capturing air bubbles is better on a downward flow, compared to upper, in what I have read, seen, conversed, and created. I have helped a friend redo theirs twice in addition to mine, a few. The extra baffle will not hurt, I was just thinking more open space for the last chamber, too.

so I am getting my pump soon and need to know what size my lines going back to the main display tank should be? the pump can push up to 2700 GPH and I will be going from one room to another. how big? and has any one used flex PVC, what are your thoughts?

I use flex pvc all the time.

How big discharge is the pump?

the discharge; I am looking at the DC pumps from reef octopus, looking at about 2700 GPH. every thing is at a stand still till I get back from macna.
