Hi All,
We are goin to be moving our tank this weekend to our new house as I have just finished our new fish room. I am going to be reusing the wood stand the tank currently sits on.
My question is I noticd when I was applying the epoxy floor paint that the floor (concrete slab) at our house is fairly uneven. The tank currently sits on carpet.
What would be the best way to ensure the tank is perfectly level. Should I put wood shims under the stand? What about a piece of foam ontop of the stand for the tank to sit on say 3/4" thick. Is this a good idea since the tank has a plastic frame?
Any suggestions would be great. The current stand is construced of 2x4s and 2x6s skinned in 3/4 oak plywood.
