225 gal SPS Coral Store build on 2nd story home.

Not sure yet. Any suggestions? I do plan on keeping fish and sps.

I currently have 1 perc clown, two tomato clowns, 1 green goby, 1 6 line wrasse, 1 yellow tang and a flame angel. They are in a 30 gal frag tank for now. They will get relocated to the bigger tank later in after it cycles.

With your current stock you can continue to keep smaller fish. A group of lubbocks wrasses and or royal grammas would add color and movement without the multiple feeding requirements of anthias.

With your size tank there are multiple options. In my tank I have one tang and the rest wrasses clowns and dwarf angels in a mixed reef tank.

Sweet setup. I like the Tonga Branches. I have one suggestion tho, paint the exposed PVC near DT black (Krylon Fusion). Would blend in better, IMO.

One more thing, how many pounds of Tonga is that you bought? Looks like a mix of 20" and 30"? Once again, sweet tank!

i will be painting it flat black later on in the future. thanks for the idea.

i bought the brs multi tonga branch. i did not opt for the 20" or 30" because the sales team at brs stated that those will not have multiple branches. and that i have to opt for multi branch and state that its for a 225 gallon tank.

and theres about 105lbs of tonga.

Thanks for the info on the Tonga. I did not know that about the 20 & 30" pieces. I would have guessed you had more weight as tonga is dense and heavy.

Are those 1" or 1.5" sea swirls? What's the DT tank and stand dimensions?

those are 1 inch sea swirls.

its a standard 225 gallon tank. 72 long x 30 deep x 24 high.

i like the razors because of the low profile look. im also happy with the color as well.

i dont have any current pictures... currently out of the country...

Very nice build! Also beautiful tank. May I ask, who was the mfg of it? They did a very modern/clean build on it. Lot of weight on the second story, you make sure your joists are running perpendicular?

was out of the country for several months. just came back. leemar made the tank and stand. lighting rack was custom. and yes... the flooring was hacked and installed para lams to help with the weight.
