Question about the venting. What fan is that that you used. I'm looking for something to vent to the outside based on a humistat and that looks like one that would work.

It is incredibly powerful and silent when hooked up to ducting. You can easily feel the draft 15 feet away.

It is mostly plastic which is good for our needs.

Just pulled the idols from quarantine this weekend. They are eating krill, Angel Formula, and mysis. I was a bit worried that their large size would make the tank look smaller. That might be the case but they really are majestic! Kihi Kihi!

Purchased this splendid Asfur the other day. It is about 5 inches. Here are some pictures in quarantine. Sorry for the bad focus. I was wedged in a 2 foot space between the car and tank. I will try and get some better pics later.

Plan is to introduce a crocea, some zoos, and a browned out SPS to the quarantine to see if he takes interest. If not I will introduce him to the main tank. If he does then someone will have dibs on nice fish!

Awesome looking tank. Those Idols are pretty, but do looked alittle cramped to the eye. How much swimming room is there from the rockwork to the front of the tank?

The bulk of the rockwork is high up in the tank. There is very little rock at the base which allows for good swimming room. The idols can also swim through some of the open branchwork.

Tank is 72L x 30H x 24w

idols must be huge made me think the tank was a little smaller then that, looks good though hope you have succes i really like idols but until i see more improvement and better way to keep these fish i wouldn't risk it i've been considering a pair for my new 84x36x25 coming in the next year or if i just cash out and go 96x36x30 but will keep us updated...

I use the ///M to lure the girls back home and when they see the tank its a lock. Oh wait...I must have sleep wrote that while dreaming.
