hello Roger,
I am having more trouble with the 230.04a that you helped me with a while back. To bring you up to date i had a pump with drive problems you took it and honed it out and i purchased a used unit from you. I held the honed out unit for back up as you suggested. the newer unit was installed and worked fine until yesterday. It is now powering on and off. I disassembled and cleaned everything and still had this problem so i pulled out the backup pump and it is doing the same thing???? I can plug both units in with the drive units removed. While holding the drive magnets close to the powerblocks i can feel that they are energized but within a few minutes they will shut down (not at the same time). They will reenergize in a few minutes only to shut down again a short time later. Any ideas as to what this might be? thanks.

When they overheat they shut down. I am willing to credit you for the repairs I did on a new motor block, as I said, I was unsure how long your old motor would last as it wasn't in the best shape and they were both about 5 years old and had hard lives, the replacement being a store use pump from AquaTek. I am also willing to test them and try again.
