It has great controllability but is perhaps a little underpowered for my tank. 18" is about its max spread. Anemones stretch a bit towards it. But have got good zoa growth. Euphyllia likes it.

The frag didn't grow that much until I moved it closer to the surface. Used to be about 3 inches deeper and didn't grow for two months.

So it would be a great light for a shallower cube. Will see if the hydra improves growth or whether light isn't the limiting factor soon enough. ;)

Okay, thats great to know! that was the light i was planning on buying as my permanent light for my tank. Marine depot gave it a pretty good review but im glad to get the point of view from someone actually using it on their tank! Will be following to see if th new light changes anything

Leather has changed colour but extending fully. Not sure what to make of it. Thoughts?

On a maintenance vinegar dose of 3ml. Everything is growing...

Adding an MP10QD to the left side of the tank. Should be able to really alternate flow patterns and stir up any detritus now, since the big rock in the middle seems to be a bit of a sink...

Thinking of taking a hammer to it and then rearranging it with epoxy into something more flow-friendly... but might cause issues if I do this, right?
