Hi
Im away from home 2 weeks at a time my wife feeds fish keeps eye on stuff. Tank is down stairs she did not realize timer went on fritz and it was was pretty much on for 2 weeks 24 hours a day. Kids told me but did not know it was a bad thing. No one noticed all the white corals :( Anyways lots of corals dead, lots completely white with polyps still extended, some white with colored polyps. Some that were shaded only lost color on part that was exposed. Anyways anyone else had this happen ? Will they recover ? Any ideas on what to do to help them recover ? I have them on 8 hours a day light right now, they were on 10 hours a day and doing great before timer went on fritz and stayed on 24.
Any advice appreciated.
thanks

Well that sucks mate, sorry it happened. I'd drop the lighting back a few hours to 5-6 max for a few weeks and keep feeding your tank as normal. The bleached acros can recover so don't give up on them. Adjust your dosing btw as the demand will have dropped drastically and you don't want to spike the alk and finish them off lol. If they have PE even though bleached they'll recover over a month or two if you keep everything else running as normal.
