240g A.G.E. Rimless Tank is becoming reality

i'm off to drop the stand and canopy off shortly ! so you all need to get matt off his rear and post some pics !!!!!

AGE tanks are by far my favorite! Good choice!

I only wish I had the funding for one when I ordered mine! Oh well, next time :D

I have two mechanisms that will move the canopy. One is a winch type setup that will tilt the canopy back away from the tank and other is a lift that will raise the canopy up or down approx. 12".

Here are a few pics of the finished stand. My buddy GWACO did a great job on the construction.
I will upload more photos showing the mechanisms in action.

Love the hood and light setup.

Yes, I must agree! Saves on the electric bill without hving to skimp on tihe halides!

o.k. heres a pic of the mech the raises the canopy up and down .
the worm screw in the center is what you turn to go either up or down while the guides on each side keep it from tiliting .
the board in the center is the mounting point for the hinged canopy.you can also see the winch mech in the bottom .

this pic shows the tilting mech in operation.
when not in use matt just pulls a pin out and the top half of the pulley bar drops down out of site .
i have more pics i can post if anyone needs me to .

and heres alittle easier view of the t-5 mountings , which shows how they can be repositioned closer or further from the m.h.
