John37: I went with black silicone and I am pretty happy with the results.
These large tank moves are the biggest pain in the whole process IMOP. I actually enjoy the rest of the process.
I have a couple of other projects I have to do the next two weeks so I probably won't have it up and running until later in the month.

Yup. Got the metal halide working but I found out that you cannot run more than (2) t-5 bulbs off of a Icecap 430 ballast even though the manual says you can run (4) 24" bulbs. I guess this does not apply to HO T-5 bulbs so I will have to swap it our for a 660.

Very nice. What would you guess the canopy weighs? I'd like to do a hanging canopy, 72 x 22 x 10 say. I plan on three LIIIs and 2-3 80W T5s.

I have had external overflows on all of my recent tanks so I can maximize my interior tank space and not to aquascape around an overflow box.

Which is what makes AGE tanks great, the PVC bottom for the CL system, they can drill them easy. How wide/deep is the overflow, does it sit right up against the wall? Got any pics you could post from that view point?

Sorry no pics of the overflow from that viewpoint. The box is 6"h x 30"w x 4.5"d.
One of the cool design features of the canopy is it can be lowered approx. 12" so the lighting is closer to the top of the tank if I choose to want to increase lighting intensity.

things look great. I really like the canopy and its flexibility, looks great.. The pull out slide for the timers and electrical is also going to be very convenient, I was actually just starting to work out something like that for my tank.
