Every manufacturer is a little different. I wouldn't risk it and just call glass cages and ask what they want. If you use the wrong foam they could void any and all warranties.

I have a glass cages 240g long... sitting on a DIY stand I built .. I doubled the plywood layer but once it got here decided not to use any foam.. reason was the same as yours there were no specs for what type and dimension of foam to use... called them and they said its an optional recommendation.. mine is been running about 5 yrs now, no issues whatsoever .. they also said that it wouldnt void the warranty if I didnt use any
There's a type of foam board that is high density used underneath poured concrete floors in basements. It is approx 1" thick. Available at most bigbox hardware stores as others have mentioned above. Foil not necessary.
Mind if I ask how you like the tank and if it was shipped?
I am looking at the 235 tall. It has a good width and depth. Height is interesting so will plan foe a certain reef bio type. Their tanks seem pretty reasonable.
