After a year and a half...the RODI is running at full speed!

I thought Jeff would never see the day! Mr. President....we have water! Thanks to GTR for the 10 feet of RODI tubing.

IT is about time! Let me know if you need any help, or any stuff, I have so much junk laying around, I might be able to help

The tank is 25% full!

We decided to rearrange some rock, so we kicked up some substraight and made a nice cloud. So when it clears, I'll get some more pics. Also, I'm waiting for my neighbor to bring over his finishing nail gun so I can get the baseboards in the fish room attached to the wall. Then I can get the rest of the filtration stuff out of the rec room. Pics to follow after that as well. :)

Here's the system info:

Here's the rec room side before:

And of course, you have to have the "kid in the tank" pic.

Here's the rec room side after. I'm having the front access doors made and trim finished, so that's why it looks unfinished. I decided to sponge a Paul Law for that part.

The fish room after. When the pic was taken, we were still painting.

This is just after putting up the barn rail and grid shelf to hold all the lights.

I will post more pics soon. :p

All I can say is "oh my gosh". Wow.

Let me know if you need any help setting up. Would love to come and bring a 6 pack some evening just to check it out, since you live down the road.

Wow Anthony! Looks great!

I'd like to see more info about the skimmer and Ca Reactor you listed there. Do they have a website?

I'll get some pics up tonite. The guy is out of Kansas City. His name is Scott McCloud. He works with acrylic for a living. Does excellent work. Good $$ too.

Looks great Anthony. You have shown a great deal of patience. That is the biggest lesson to learn in this hobby!!

:bounce3: Ah my little black buddy! Haven't heard from Anita yet. The water level is a couple inches from the top of the overflow! It's like waiting for the Titanic to flood. Scheesh!

I was going to take a pic this morning, but I hooked up the stream pumps and one of the lower ones went off by accident. So needless to say, tank is cloudy.

Baseboards and trim are all finished with no trip to the ER. Always a plus according to my wife. Sump is in place. Light rack is almost finished. Once I clear out all the wiring and construction crap from the fish room I'll post more pics.

Finally got some updated pics!

The main lighting is not running yet...so the light about the tank is a 4' PC fixture. Gotta be able to see. :)

I wanted to avoid the rock wall, so there are a bunch of “alley ways” throughout the tank. All the rockwork is free standing with about a 4” wide alley across the back of the tank. Because the Stream Rocks are brand new, they tend to stick out like a sore thumb, but I’m working on adding some smaller rock pieces to add around them.

Pay no attention to my Carbon Scrotum hanging in the middle of the tank. I added a bunch of Carib-Sea Reef Bones that is like adding dry uncured rock to the tank. Thanks to the Carbon Scrotum, everything smells nice.

Here’s the ballast rack. Tried to keep everything organized. The ballasts are attached to the wall using square metal pieces (Lowes). I wanted to keep the ballasts off any surfaces to help keep them cooler. There are about eight quarter inch anchors on each metal piece to make sure this thing doesn’t fall out of the wall.

The Skimmer has been going crazy for the past 4 days.

I have two of these LED moonlights attached to the light rack. Picked them up at IMAC last yearl

This is the substraight (sp?) I’m using. I had used Southdown in the past and while it looked nice in the beginning, I had problems the longer I used it. The SeaFlor Super Reef has a good variety of texture, including shell pieces.

And a pic of my Blue Lobo with the Fire Shrimp. This is in the 33g.

I’m still working on some wiring for the light rack as well as dealing with some micro bubble issues. The control cabinet should be done soon also. So more pics on the way.

Couldn't help but notice!

I see you are a "Member of the ELOS Rider Posse"

GTR is banned from association with them
