240Gal Reef of its own kind

Thank you guys, no i wont stain it from the back. in fact i will put a mirror tint like u see on cars. it will serve 2 purposes. 1 it will act like a mirror so from the front u cant see into the garage. 2 from garage u can see inside as i dont have front access to the tank. having see through from backside is important to place corals and stuff.

Very nice!
I'm planning almost the same build soon.
Is Glasscages hit or miss with their workmanship? I'm hearing mixed reviews.

this is my 4ths tank with glasscages. i havent gotten any sloppy tank from them yet. infact this 240 and the sump was very nicely built and the seems and silicon and trips were very proffessionly placed. overall i am very pleased with this tank.

ok so after few more days i have managed to get everything in place.
here is what it looks like from the front.

lights are 5 AI Sol Blue, they get hot in summer and goto limp mode so i put fans on top with a timer to keep them cool.

I hooked up my commercial grade 1.5 hp EcoPlus Chiller an di am so surprised with its performance. it can drop 1 degree in 2 mintues.

and here is a shot of Genesis Renew that performs automatic water changes for me. i have it set for 3 gal per day everyday. Next to it is Storm system and Rocv system. Storm watchs for evaporation and acts as ATO and is a very failsafe system. ROCv watches for water in my ro/di bin and as it runs low it automatically turns my ro/di unit fills it back up and shuts off.

Very nice set up!! Let me know what mirror tint you go with as I am building a 240gal as well (60x36x25H).

I build two runs of lok-line under my substrate as well. They only issue is how do we clean the inside build-up out?

i am running a reeflo dart 3600 gph on a ocean motion super compact. so basically i gonna have so much flow and pressure i doubt its gonna have build up.
