Mongoose33

New member
Hello everyone, as some of you know I had my tank unplugged right before my honeymoon. Thanks for all the offers of replacements. I have decided to do a new tank build and move the livestock that survived later. P.S the wedding and honeymoon were great!
here goes
25 gal cube made by nano sea creations
Homemade stand
Nano sea creations refugium sump
Return pump maybe ehiem?
Skimmer tunze 9005? Any suggestions?
Led light fixture
Existing mp10 for water movement
And aquacontroller jr. for controller
So far I have the tank and have started the stand. when I finish stand I will order sump and start plumbing. Any and all advice always appreciated! Thanks Rob

Here's a picture of my wife and I entering the reception. She bought me a riding cooler as a wedding present and let me ride her in on it. She is so cool!

I hope the parents of the poorly disciplined child are giving you money towards the rebuild! I have a nearly 6 year old and she knows better, in fact she has always known better, than to go to someones house and start unplugging things, especially next to a fish tank.

dont waste you cash on the Tunze 9005 if its only 25 gals do a 9002 you can get a used on for under $100 in the used section. 9002 is great and with def do the job.

Here is an update I put some stain on the stand and hope to finish the stand by next weekend. Then start on sump I think I'm gonna go with tunze 9002 skimmer and am leaning toward ati t5 fixture over the LEDs. I've had good results in the past with t5s

Looking good!

Ah yes... one of the things I truly miss since leaving the cabinet world, I use to run stuff through the CNC machines all the time, sigh.

I finished my light today it was easier than I thought it would be. I got it from reefledlights and couldn't be happier with product and support. I found a video online where Bill shows step by step and it helped a lot. I'm just waiting on my sump and I'm good to go!

I've been working on my tank build today. I finished off the light and I made the light hangers. It's coming along great and I couldn't be happier! My sump will be done next week then it's on to figuring out the plumbing. The wife and I are buying a house in the next two months so I think it will see water after the move. I have to admit that I can't wait to have a running tank again after the crash I had in July. Any opinions about the plumbing before I drill the tank?
