25 gallon AIO build

Hello all,

I am finally in the process upgrading to a 25 gallon all in one system. So im going to take you all along for the ride.

The tank is 18x18x18 inches and will be bare bottom. For lighting ill be mounting the same AI Prime HD that is on my 12 gallon on this sytem.

For filtration i plan on using a tunze 9002 skimmer in the middle chamber as well as running some gfo and rox carbon in media bags in the overflow. Also considering some marine pure block in the middle chamber but i have limited experience with it and I'm not quite sure how it would work out in an aio system.

Any advice along the way would be appreciated

Thanks,
Matt

Your rockwork is nice. Are you thinking sps or mixed reef?
Mixed reef for sure i love the movement that lps gives the tank. But i will have plenty of sps in the tank. This pillar will be on the left or right side of the tank with a boulder on the right with a "land bridge" in between for acan and zoa/paly placement.

Has anyone ever had any experience with the jeabo dosing pumps?? Or is this one of there products i should stay away from.

If you go that direction, I have a 4 pump unit that's never been used I'll sell for 50 bucks. I ended up getting a controller and a cal reactor,

I am totally with you on that. I also the movement of swaying coral and tentacles in the flow. Its so mesmerizing.

Picked up some wood for the stand today.I plan on just framing out the stand for now and skinning it later, kind of in a rush to get the system up and running before the frag swap later this month so in not to concerned about appearance at the moment.
Stand is going to be 19x19x27 tall giving the tank and stand an overall height of 45 inches. Second pic shows the potential spot for the new system.

Hoping to make some cuts tommrow and get this stand pounded out. More pics to come [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

Trying to figure out if i want to hide the "show" under the tank or really make this a functional display system that shows what its running in a nice neat manner. If anyone has seen what google's server facilitys looks like thats kinda what im considering, an in your face model of what it takes to run these systems. I figure itl look cool and will be a lot easier to explain to non reefers what's going on with the tank.

Stand is as far as it needs to be so that i can get the tank rolling! Stand is 18x18x26 tall. Giving me a total height of 44inches.

Skinned the frame today rushed it a touch (had to be at a wake and im very impatient haha) but looks good had one little mishap while cutting the front panel, table saw blade was shot when i went to make my last cut so i had to use the circular saw and just nibed the edge a touch. Nothing wood filler and a good sanding cant fix but here are the pics.

Door will be going on the left hand side of the stand and should be done this week sometime.

Also hoping my ai prime hd mount will fit with this skimmer. If not skimmer will have to go and ill run a fuge in the center chamber.

Had some progress tonight. Finally got the door cut out and hung. I ended up going with a forward facing door over a side access. All thats left now is to sand and paint.
