250 watt DE Hamilton

Any comment on this bulb please in terms of par values and color? I have a Giesemann Megachrome 1400 k that is more yellow than I like.

I have ran it many times over the years, but it's been quite some time ago. I switched to Phoenix for the added PAR back then for the growth, but the color on the lamp is really good, and in all reality I think the coloration looks little better than what the Phoenix did.

Thanks Jeremy. I had the Phoenix at one point and obviously happy with the performance. But no longer readily available.
If the colour is better on the Hamilton I might go that route.

I think the only thing you might see the most difference in would be slightly less growth, but even then that would be a small difference.

I'm okay with a little less growth as long as the colour is there.

I have been using the Phoenix 14k 250w DE with ATI T5 blue plus. Based on your suggestion, I think I am going to try the XM 15k. What t5 supplement would you recommend? I only have 2 t5 sockets in my fixture. Was worried it would maybe be too blue with the 15ks. If I stayed with the blue plus.
