For sale is a 250w mercury vapor DIY ballast enclosed in a plastic electrical box, along with an Iwisaki 6500k bulb. These bulbs are actually mercury vapor, so this is the proper ballast type for it. They are amazing growth bulbs that are pretty yellow, so they are great for frag tanks. Not included are a reflector and socket/cord to ballast, sorry I had to keep some things when I moved over to a double ballast. The easiest solution is a cable with a mogul socket on one end and a PFO quick disconnect on the other end. That is what it's wired for. Used 8 hrs. per day for about 4 months. $75 OBO.
