250w Galaxy Ballast

Has anybody tested the claim that a dual 250w galaxy draws less power than 2 175w pfo ballasts?

I swear I saw this claim made.

Anybody?

I have one and love it, runs very cool, and my electric bill went down. I do want to get a kill a watt meter and test it.

I just bought a single 250 watt galaxy for my new frag tank. So far the only thing I can say about it is that I'm suprised at how light it is and how little heat it gives off. Additionally, it seems to run the 14K pheonix bulbs a bit bluer than they are on my main tank which is using a dual bluewave 7 ballast. I'm very impressed with it so far and I am even contemplating switching my dual bluewave 7 for a dual galaxy.
