255 Gallon System - 180 Display - Vortech Ques

I'm planning my system - already have the 180 gallon display and 75 gallon sump/fuge.

The display is 6'x2'x2' - the Vortechs will be on the back of the tank or on each side - but I was not sure what the best option would be:

1) Three MP20s across the back of the tank

2) Two MP40s across the back of the tank

3) Two MP40s, but put one on each side of the tank

Not sure what the best configuration would be - I am leaning to #3, but wanted to get other's thoughts.

I would definently go with MP40s...they're only a little more and you can always turn them down.

I think it would look better with mounting them on the back wall, but would probably be more efficient if you placed them on the sides.

What about a wavebox running lengthwise on one of the sides and VTs on the back?

I'm planning the same setup. I think the flow would be stronger and more efficient installed on either side, but it'd look better on the back. I'm going to place mine on the back. I think I'll get plenty of chaotic flow, and it will look much better.
