265 Gallon Upgrade / Build Thread. Advise wanted

Im super excited and nervous at the same time. Im up grading my 125 gallon to a 265!

I was able to buy it today Black Friday, only one left @ 50% off. Its a Marineland 84x24x30. It came with stand,canopy,tank, and overflow plumbing.

Im going to transfer over my LEDs and add a few.

I would like some advice on what skimmer, sump, and return pumps are recommended? Or any other recommendations too. Cant wait to piece to together!

Also, my tiles are thick Mexican ones that are different heights. Wondering if I should place a sheet of ply wood down first, then shim?

I may need to bit of help with plumbing if someone knows anyone in a few weeks or so.

Im going to much research myself also and will post pics on the process.

Congrats. We were just talking about how that would fit perfectly in the area your 125 is in. I will watch for the build thread. Now your urchin would have had plenty of room. If you want it back, I can bring it to you when you are set up.

Thanks Kevin, I will be picking up the tank today, and piecing it all together in garage bit by bit.

BTW: I called Bulk Reef Supply and they recommended the Reeflo Dart Super Gold return pump.

I was able to pick one up cheaper with a black friday coupon code.

4300 GPH @ 165 watts. Loving these numbers

BRS also recommended the Bubble Magus BM-NAC9 skimmer. They referred to it as the Bubble King little brother.
