So is there any info out there or is it not possible to do without a "big ordeal". For example, clams direct aquacultured clams, are they ordered in or do they prop them themselves?

as far as I know, which isnt much, I would say they "order in" because the only clam farms that I have ever heard of are in Indonesia/Palau so nothing even remotely close to the US

They order them from overseas suppliers. No one in the US is aquaculturing clams here!!
