thanks.

I am hoping Mid february things will be completed and I hope to have water in the tank and starting the cycle going.

test fir of teh reef ceramics today. The wall plates will be rotozipped to size and I still have one that is not in the tank. I also have to notch a place for the wave box on the one end. All IN all these look cool!!

I need to use either a Roto zip or angle grinder on the plates to get an exact fit on the walls. Not a big deal at all. I also have to notch out a spot for the wave box to site on the end between the two end plates.

Very nice setup! Wow, I wish I could do that

Do you have a link to a place where I can buy Reef Ceramics? They look awesome!

edit: nvm, just read the first post again. Doh!

Thanks,

I am going to work on it some more today and try to get teh drywall tapping part finished tonight. I only have a few joints to finish up in the utility room and that is it. I also plan on having the lights hooked up in the viewing room tonight so I can sand in there and stat on coat number two :D in that room.

I will be hopefully painting this area in a few weeks. I am going to stick with earth tones in the living room and aquarium room. The utility room I am painting a nice light blue color :)

I love my reef ceramics. Here is a photo of when I first installed mine. Haven't taken a shot of my tank lately but the ceramic is really starting to look just like the rock.

Love the back ground rock. I would suggest that you retro fit those mj power heads with magnets, as time goes on, they are just going lose its suction.

They have already been removed and I'm working on a Magnet holder for the MJ. Already had one pop off and create a crater.

:mad2:

Also I moved the Stream to the right wall and it shoots all the way across the tank. Less sand dunes created by doing this.

A few updates though.

Getting ready to finish the drywall work and painting this week. I took some of teh drywall off to run (3) 12-2 lines for 20 amps instead if the 14-3 I was going to use.

The I am exploring a braodening my lighting to use MH spots and LEDS...'
