Hey guys,

Here's my nano Version 2.0 in the works. I got my scape put together this weekend. I was aiming for an open structure for waterflow. I had some deadspots in my last scape that I didn't like.

I plan on keeping a varied reef with SPS in mind. I'm really shooting for a nice LPS for the open area on the bottom. Probably an elegance coral or something.

I'm waiting on a piece of plumbing for my RO/DI to get water in this thing! Should be here tomorrow.

Nice scape for the small space, should give you lots of options as you go and good flow throughout. Nice to see you are keeping scale in mind. Are you going to have a sand bed?

Thanks Grant, I do plan on having a sandbed. I was hoping that once I get some water in I could buy a little bit of sand from someone in the area to seed my sand with some bacteria and pods n stuff. I may also be on the lookout for a piece of LR too.

The idea I had originally for you I was a single structure for with twist and turns, counter balancing, over hangs, and use one rock as the base.

I was wondering if anyone near Novato has a few lbs of LR and some LS from their established system I could buy off of them. I have water in the tank with my rock and now I just need to get this cycle started! Thanks

Do I see an MP10? Nice. What type of sand are you planning to get? My MP10 blows my fine grain sand in my BC29 if I turn it up half way.

Day 2 of the tank being alive.

I tested for the following with API tests:
Ammonia - 0.50
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 5

Lookin at the tank I'm noticing cyano in a few spots. Phosphates are at 0.5. grrr
