Hi all,

I'd like to add a pair of true percs and an anemone to by 28g Nano. It comes stock with the Watt quad CF lights, do you think this will be enough light? I'd like to do a BTA but I don't think the tank is going to be big enough, any thoughts of suggestions?

Thanks

How many watts?

A 28g tank should be big enough for a BTA, as long as you only want the BTA and fish in there. The stock lighting may be enough for an anemone, but it will be on the low end. CF doesn't project light downward very effectively compared to most other light sources.

It should be enough. I successfully kept green bta's in my jbj 12 nano for over a half year now with my Latz.
It was a 5" green tip and now it is 2 bta's 6" across. I have the water at 74f cause the Latz are a colder water clownfish. Your quad light is more powerful than my dual pc hood. But I would suggest to save up for the led hood It's nice. I am gonna switch mine to LEDs after I move in the summer.

Ah ok. That is gonna work just fine then. Just make sure you keep the water real clean. If you don't have a skimmer I would highly recommend weekly water changes but everything else should be suitable for a BTA and 2 clowns.
