hey guys, im planning to separate my micromussas and acans from the rest of the corals, shrimps and fishes to give them a proper and special treatment ( i love them ) and im thinking of the new set up from oceanic, the 29 gallons nano cube, do you guys think that is appropriate ? i heard a lot that is very difficult to maintain the parameters in a nano cube so i will do what you suggest me guys, im counting on your experience.

thanks in advance

I have a nano and I have plenty of acans and micros. It'll work, but yes the parameters in a nano and move quickly.

Its more difficult. I'd avoid it if possible. But if you don't have the room for a bigger tank, do what you can.

I have found that in the generic population I am unable to properly care for my micros and so long ago I added a "Ledge" made of egg crate and zip ties that now hangs appx. 4 inches sub water level in my main tank... All of my micros and the occational lucky nursery frag end up here. I find that I am better able to feed and protect them here... they love the additional light and now feedings are a breeze. My Acans however prefer less light and therefore reside happily in the untouchable depths.

thanks guys, same here doc, i have to do something about it, definitely i dont think im gonna go with the nano, probably im gonna set up a 40-50 tank just for them, what do you guys think is the simplest and better way to do the filtration system there because the tank is gonna have no fish, shrimps, sps or anything other than micros, acans and probably candy canes , thanks
