29 gal corallife biocube

I have had several vivariums in the past and currently have an aga 29g that I did a vertical conversion on housing a pair of red eyed tree frogs, and they are by far way easier than any aquarium I have ever had. Practically maintenance free especially if you have an auto mister as long as you seed with springtails.

Where did you buy the screen mesh and is it capable of keeping the fruit flies in? I'm planning on seeding multiple types of Isopods and springtails and also supplementing with gliders and flightless FF. nice looking tank too! Mist King?

I hand mist just because I didn't want to drill the tank for mist nozzles, and I just used regular nylon screen from Lowe's. I'm pretty sure you can get no see em screen from either josh's frogs or new England herp

Reply sounds good I found some surgical stainless mesh too. I'm gonna see if Doug the rock guy has ghost wood for me to pick through too

And I was leaning towards mist king I enjoy automation and I want to not be in the enclosure very often

Nice job!

What are you going to house in your viv? I dig the slogan you should offer it to them for royalties lol

I had cresties but they knocked to much stuff over and I was spending more time with my daughter's beardie. So now it can be reconverted to a mini orchid greenhouse

For non reptile folk: crested gecko for Vivarium and bearded dragon in own enclosure lol

So lighting gurus out there help me out with color spectrum that would best suit terrestrial and aquatic plants:

A few LED ratio recommendations (such as 50:50 Royal Blue:Cool White) would be great! Here are the colors available:

365nm ultraviolet
420nm Violet
440nm Royal Blue
460nm Cool Blue
510nm Cyan
540nm Deep Green
575nm-650nm broad amber (orange)
600nm - Red-Orange
640nm - Standard Red
670nm - Deep Red

All input is welcome!

So aiming specifically for 6500k would be best would you use any blue or red specifically for adding a little color pop or just straight 6500k?
