Does anybody have one that's in good shape and looking to get rid of one? I'm going to turn it into a vivarium.

Thanks!

Utilize the return line for a waterfall. Drill in a drip line for the back wall (rock/cork/foam). Pond belling to the left and back into a rock cave. Cut out a short and long rectangular section against the bottom to allow the water to flow circularly from waterfall back to pump. Fogger behind existing overflow so fog can roll into the tank. Two alternating air circ fans mounted through the false back to have internal air circulation. That's the vision anyways lol heavily planted with moss/ mini orchids/ vines ext. possibly thumbnail frogs too

Should be pretty sweet I'm excited just checking here if anybody had one they wanted to sell that was in good shape otherwise I'll just buy a new one.

Keep us updated. Do you think you will have enough ventalation? Also if you stick with the stock lighting heat will probably be an issue since, like corals, I think thumbs like to stay under 80

Yes temp will be a semi issue I've spoken to Steves and he said he's done plant Retrofits before so that is the direction I'm leaning. After researching that hobby for about 6 months I find theirs funny. They all go fairly inexpensive while most of us tend to go for the most we can possibly afford (and sometimes more than we can afford lol). Also after reaching out to a couple of them they have insisted internal air circ is more important than external but I plan on building a surgical stainless wire mesh lid to keep frogs in tank only and than flipping a hood fan to push fresh air in when temp ranges go haywire.

Just gonna bump this up and give one more shot at snagging a used one otherwise it's back to the previous employer to see if I can get a deal lol

I thought that was you selling it could you PM me the contact info my brain is fried today work overload.

Okay I got the tank!!! Thank you Jet Black!!! My wife thinks it's too big for the little guys room but I'm gonna convince her it will work (he's got the jungle room Luke's is the nautical room). Retrofit will hopefully start soon I'm going to modify the filtration, flow through, and build in fans first. Then I'm going to talk the old lady into Steve's retrofit with bluefish for fun. Then it will be all foam, silicone, texture, rock, cork tube, drainage layer and bedding. Lastly will be the automated misting system and the system will be ready for plants, micro fauna, and lastly dart frogs!

Nope my first rodeo I ran a LFS for 5ish years (4 years ago lol) so I have a lot of experience and we had a couple of different Herps growing up I just do a lot of research and planning prior to production. Being married with kids now means lots more planning
