Very nice thread...I didn't read all of it but at one point you had a pic up of a monti that you weren't sure about. I think it is a superman monti, they have some at fragglereef.com if you want to check it out. nice job with the tank by the way.

Thanks! Its not the superman monti, but a great looking one still IMO. I have been looking for a small frag of the superman.....

Well its been quite sometime since i've updated. I've moved to a new house. The tank move went ok. I lost (losing) my green slimer but other than that no casualties. I had to fashion a way to hang my pendant as the spot for the tank is temporary and i did not want to put holes in the ceiling/walls for that reason.

So i have a bunch of pics to update with. I'm setting up a 55gal soon and all my softies and LPS will go into that tank. This will be my SPS tank at that point. But here is how it looks after the move

First my hanger. I connected it with plumbers strap to the uprights on the back of the stand

Its made of 1.5" ABS using 2 45* elbows to center it over the tank

Here is my purple tricolor. Not sure what happened to it, for some reason a spot bleached out on the back side that i did not notice for some time. It is now on the sand with the bleached spot facing me so i can monitor it. Luckily is has not worsened, but has not gotten better either :/

And whats left of my slimer

Thats because i upgraded to a 75gal :D

I have yet to finish the 75gal, it basically looks like a holding tank at this point. I'm about half way done with my DIY liverock.

I went from MH to T5. I underestimated how bright these T5s are, and ended up burning a lot of my corals. All my SPS died, and most of my LPS. Luckily i have all my zoas and some of the LPS are making a great comeback.

Anyway, here is a pic of the current project

bummer about the lights and their effects on the corals. Its funny, when I was writing the message I was wondering if you might have upgraded by now. Mine is getting pretty packed at the moment and I'm eyeing my 120FOWLR for an upgrade eventually. Did you do a similar setup to the 75 that you did to the 29?

No, the 75 is a reef ready AGA tank with built in overflow. I did drill the back with 5 holes for a CL. It leaks and i'm still very upset about it. At this point the bulkheads all have plugs in them and i use MJmods for flow. As you can see, i'm still lazy when it comes to scraping coralline LOL

I shoulda went to a 120 lol. I'm already seeing limitation in this tank.
