Should i have a skimmer ?? Or would i be ok to just do Regular water changes ?

How close can softies be ?

Water quality should be slightly richer in nutrients ?

It will probly house a mantis as the main resident.

1. No you dont need a skimmer. You will be able to get away with water changes... + softies like the water abit dirty..
2. How close can they be , well it depends on the coral each one has its own needs . Some might sting , while others might grow ontop .. Need to do research on each one.
3. Yepp..
I am not sure about the mantis but from what I have read the corals will be ok but they might get moved around by the mantis were ever he sees fit..

I have riccs in with my mantis and she doesn't bother anything. I have a few small rocks and pebbles in there for her to play with hoping that she'll leave them alone and she does.

And I just do water changes, I don't use a skimmer at all.

I suppose whether you need a skimmer or not depends on how heavily your tank is stocked with fish and inverts. While softies like dirty water, algae loves dirty water and will quickly take over a tank.
