3/4g very other day is a lot! My 220g with 250w metal halides only needs 1-1.5g a day. Your BC is 10% of the size, but is almost half the evaporation?? That's pretty significant, IMO.

thats just a guesstimate! i never really keep track, i top off my big tank then the small.
