29gal reef startup (Pic Intense)

Yeah, the LFS said it costs an arm & a leg to ship things all the way to northern Alberta. That's why he has to charge so much. At least the specimens they had were all in very good shape, all of the ones in stock were fully expanded abd had bubble tips.

The skimmer is a Coralife SuperSkimmer 3000, 65-gal version. Works great for me, except you have to make sure the air intake is clean at all times, or else the skimmer will overflow, depending how high you had your bubble level set to.

that is a very nice anemone. I have heard that some of the color morphs such as the rose and green can be a little pricey. Im glad to see it healthy

Thanks for the replies!

The kid at the LFS wasn't 100% sure if it's a GBTA or an RBTA. Most of the oral disc is green, but the bubble tips are rose/orange/red-ish.

It accepted some small silverside pieces this week. It's looking pretty good. The bubble tips aren't as big as last week though. The tentacles are a bit longer now. The female clown won't leave it's side. She's hogging it all to herself, not letting the male get near the nem.

I'm a bit concerned that the female clown isn't plumping up as fast as the male. Although, the male is a big pig when it's feeding time...

Here's a few pics of the BTA & resident. They were taken a few days ago.
