2nd A. omanensis arrives at ibluewater!

I just read a post on another forum that was from ibluewater that a 2nd A.Omanensis has arrived at the qt facility in cali! The first fish went to a breeder by the name of Sissy in the Chicago land area. This fish will also be going to her making it the only "pair" in captivity as far as I know. Just figured I'd spread the news since this a first for this highly regarded unattainable fish! Cheers!

It's not the prettiest clownfish in the world but it is the rarest clownfish as far as I know. There has never been any captive breeding of this fish ever!

It's cool that such a rare fish is making into the hobby, but it's nowhere near the top of my list for best looking clowns. I wonder how long the high prices will last once a few clutches are raised?

I agree 100%. It's the rarity of the fish that makes it so expensive. I expect the prices to stay somewhat high considering they are basically never allowed to be collected.

Does anyone know how much Sissy actually paid for them? That would give you at least a start point to gauge how much they may be.
