2nd Blenny ....

Will I be asking for trouble if I add a Lawnmower Blenny to a 29 gallon tank with ample hiding places/rock that has (2) skunk clowns and a Tailspot Blenny? Will these two Blennies cause me problems? I know there are conspecific problems with some Blennies but I did not knbow if that went for all Blennies.

Why not add a Helfrichi, purple or red Firefish instead? If you have algea issue it's worth looking into the root of the problem. It's not a good idea to have two herbivores in a small system. Having two blennies in there is even worse. I don't recommend it.

I think a 29 is too small for a LMB. They get pretty big for a Blenny, and as they mature, can get plain mean. They do not always eat prepared foods either. I had one starve in my 55 gallon
