2x Stream 6101 + 7095 MultiController in 150gal

Hi All,

I have the above Tunze kit (TS24). Tank is 150 gal - effectively it is a peninsula style tank, with both Tunze's at one end - one each in each top corner about 6" below the water surface.

Questions:
1. I have a 12v jumper, 18v, and 24 volt. Which is most appropriate?
2. What is the recommended sequence? Is there a "how to" guide explaining what the various settings do and what effects will be acheived?

I think the 18V jumper is likely the best suited to the tank size, however, a full SPS tank may need the 24V and a softie or anemone tank may do better with the 12V.

I would use Interval 2 with a 6hr interval and 3 second pulse from 30-100%. I would aim the pumps diagonally across the tank so they hit the front about 12" before the diagonal corner.

Thank you for such a concise reply - exactly what I needed to hear I'll do it in the morning :thumbsup:

The tank is mainly SPS, but it its early stages - so maybe I'll keep it on the lower jumper sets for now. Thing is, I've got 2no. 24V, 1 no. 12V, and 1no.18V ..... can't remember why the odd numbers..... bought these quite some time back. Could I compensate by adjusting the the red "dial" on the the pumps power connector box (the little box connected to the pump which also connects the control cable to the pump), or does the 7095 override the function of that?

Sorry for the late reply, the jumpers are in a small bag with the power supply, if you adjust the potentiometer and a controller the controller may not work properly and the pump and controller could cycle off. When using a controller the potentiometer should always be at full power.

Yes - I just seem to have an odd combo of jumpers. I previsouly used these pumps on my 240, so just used the 24V ..... but now I'm using them on a 150 I want to use the smaller ones, but seem to have 1 no. 18V and 1 no. 12V. I've just ordered another 18V jumper. $2 for te part, $8 for shipping!!!

Understood regarding the potentiometer - I'll just set it to max, and until I get the smaller jumpers then I'll just set the pulse for 30-70% instead.

For my own reference - could you tell me what the flow ranges are for the 6101 when using the 12V, 18V, and 24V jumpers - respectively? From what I can gather, full power 24V (36W) is 1,056 to 3,170 USgal./h / Minimum power 12V (18W) is 660 to 1,849 USgal./h ...... but I can't seem to find a rating for 18V?

Yes, in Thailand the parts would be mailed from Germany so shipping is a bit expensive. You could check if a jumper is available at an electronics store.

Roughly the flow at 12V is 500-1600, at 18V 700-2300, at 24V it is 1000-3200.
