well I ws telling my family how much I loved the tunze pumps, well for an early christmas present they got me 2 more tunze 6000's and a 7095 controller. now I have a total of 3 6000's. the 2 new ones came with the 6000 and 6100 shrouds. my question would be is 3 to much for a 75 gal. all SPS tank? or what would be the best way to set this up with the controller.

Thanks in advance

I don't think 3 would be too much but 2 is probably enough. I assume you mean 6200 shrouds as the 6000 and 6100 were identical accept the voltage of the power supply. I would probably keep the 6000's stock, these would have an 11V power supply and do 1800gph, which * 2 should be plenty for a 75. I would use Interval 2 mode with a 6hr interval, one pump on channel 1 and one on channel 2.

yes sorry I ment the 6200 shrouds.

I will give using only 2 a try with the 6000 shrouds, would having each one on the back corner facing the middle of the front glass be the best way to mount them, or on the side glass pointing at each other?

I can try to get a pic. of the tank if that would help.

Thanks Roger you have always been a great help

also one other question I also need a drive unit for one of the pumps do I need the 6100.700 or the 6100.600?

thanks

Typically the best is back corner to just past the front middle or about 3/4 of the way across the tank diagonally. 6100.700 is the better choice in most cases, both will work but 6100.700 is the newer version and the only reason to choose 6100.600 is on some older more worn pumps they are quieter.
