I picked up the false perc yesterday in a package deal. I thought I would put him in my DT just to see if he would get along with the others. The false did have a gbta in its tank that it never noticed. Monkey see, monkey do.

aerius,

Black clowns will become aggressive once they mature. A word of caution, what works today might not in a month or two.

Every clown is different. Theres no rule of thumb for Black being meaner then the orange versions. Hit or miss IMO

My experiences have been that once they mature sexually, they can get agressive to other clowns. Especially when you have a pair, and an odd man out. Just a word of caution.

THat can happen for sure, Usually clowns go after other species of clowns too. I thought you ment aggressive in general. Which is usually hit or miss. Most salt water fish that pair up usually end up hunting down the others like them in the tank. I had 6 bangai's at one time, 2 paired up and the rest were history.
