I have a blue, red and green which grow up so much that in a week or two they will reach each other. Could they do harm to neighbor or I should start cutting them?
Thanks

I have seen several tanks where they have grown together and intertwined, and it turns out quite stunning.

I say let them grow together, and definitely photograph them as they mature.

For the most part, montiporas wont really fight with their own kind......

With that said, I had a plating green monti and a plating red monti I fragged and placed on the same plug which d/n turn out the best.

Thanks for the replays and here are few 4 months old images of the tank (can not take better ones :headwallblue) 150G tank

They must be the same species. If one of those Montipora digitatas is actually Montipora porites, one will sting and kill the other. There are many species of Montipora that get misidentified as digitata and are a different species.

If they are all digitata then they will tolerate each other. One will probably grow faster and overlap the others. I would just let nature take it's coarse. It the end it should look pretty cool.
