Thanks to those who already have picked up roses ... for others who may be interested I have 3 left @ $10 per inch of disc diameter - 1 x 4" ($40), 1 x 6" ($60), and 1 x 8" ($80). Colors in the pics below are pretty accurate @ 7K; the orange color will become more ruby in tone as the K rating increases (they are quite red under true actinics).

Please PM for additional details or info. Thanks ...

These rose anemones are gorgeous! I've seen them in person and they are well worth the drive for sure. Thanks again Robin and for those who are picking one up, make sure to bring your cell phone. ;)

Thanks Katina for the kind words and nice recommendation.

Greensarco, These are clones, I've got the parent colony and when I have a cluster of splits that get big enough, I'll thin them out.

Ntrlfive, PM returned, LMK here if you don't get it.

Thanks ...

Rene, thanks ... I'm not sure that's really true, but appreciate the comments anyways!

Sorry folks for the full PM box ... got a flurry of PMs late last night but it's clear now. If I overlooked anyone's messages, please resend and I'll respond promptly.

Thanks,
Robin

i just want to know how one gets a rose anemone to clone, is it lighting, regular feeding. One thing is obvious, good water quality, but what gives the anemone the spark?

Greensarco, I'm actually coming down your way this weekend! Send me a PM if you would on what you're looking for and maybe we can coordinate times.

Pufferman, I've found that changing temps and large water changes after a period of no changes, plus plenty of feeding seems to kick these guys into split mode. However, having said that, I cannot consistently without fail induce splits. The only way to guarantee a split when you want is to pull out the razor blade. I did this once about 4 years ago, but never since then as I hated to butcher the poor things (was done more as an experiment, to tell the truth). Since that time I've tried to keep them fat and happy, and let nature take it's course. That's why I won't have any clones for awhile, and then have have a few in a group.
