3 Tangs - 180g

You can mix all the tangs mentioned above depending on when, how and size are thought out. I had a 265 with a purple, yellow, black tang, sailfin, powder blue and white cheek(gold rim) for almost 12 years. the powder blue was added last and was the smallest when added, around 2"s. The black tang was around 10"s. the Purple, yellow and sailfin were added at the same time and first all between 3-4"s. Then the black, The white cheek was around 5"s when added and was added with 2 angels at the same time. Powder blue was last added by itself an nothing ever bothered it. Maybe I got lucky or that formula works. Whitecheeks can become aggresive like the powderblues so be careful with those guys.

Just thought I would give an update. I ended up with 4 tangs actually...

Kole
Chocolate Mimic
Yellow
Purple

Put them in that order with Yellow and Purple at same tame and same size.

Everyone is happy and getting along! Thanks guys!

It seems like some people get lucky and others don't. But it all has to do with luck mainly on Mother Nature's side.

I have been one of the lucky ones as well. I have a yellow tang, desjardini sailfin, powder blue and achilles tang. All of them are fine. The achilles was placed in last and appears to be the most aggressive.

Apparently there was too much stress as the tangs got ick. I have been taking care of them carefully as I have a mixed reef (softies and other fish) and luckily they are almost over the ick.

All of them are eating well again and three of them show absolutely no signs of ick any longer.
