Yeah, id agree with everyone else here that a single mp10 is gonna be lacking for flow in an sps tank especially a frag tank where everything is at the same level generally. I think they are great for the nanocube style tanks that are less than 18" wide but thats about the limit for horizontal flow power. In my 45 cube 24" wide there is nearly nothing making its way to the other end and that pretty much destroys the undertow that these pumps are so good for. I feel if you were to add a smaller mj with the propeller pumps it would be perfect. Ive added a 1200 along with my mp10 on the opposite side flowing diagonally back towards it and have been running the mp10 in short pulse at the longest interval and it works very well as the flow has something to push back against which creates a nice undertow. But certainly if youve got the cash, a 40 would be best or two 10's would be even better with the sync modes.
